Westman Islands

SACA operates in the Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar) in South Iceland.


During our tours, we will see many bird species up close, including the puffin, common murre and the kittiwake.

How to get there?

Driving from Reykjavík to Landeyjahöfn takes about 2 hours. The ferry Herjólfur sails between Landeyjahöfn and Vestmannaeyjar during the summer and the trip takes about 40 minutes. To book a trip with Herjólfur click here. If you prefer a direct flight from Reykjavík, click here.
